Alastair, Ann-Marie and family " The main reason we attend St Luke's is that it is Bible-based. The Bible is God's inerrant word, necessary and sufficient to lead all men and women into eternal life through faith alone in the man Jesus Christ alone. Because the Bible is faithfully taught at St Luke's Sunday by Sunday - and at other times - it trains, corrects, encourages and rebukes us so that we as a family are equipped for ministry. "We like the fact that St Luke's is a traditional Anglican Church - upholding fully the 39 Articles of Religion and being committed to God's Word and the gospel above man-made tradition. "Facilities for the children are important to us and these are provided in the new crèche and the teaching programme called 'Word Alive' which is provided most Sunday mornings."
Hazel: "
Hello my name is Hazel. I've been attending St Luke's for 35 years. I
was married here in 1970 and confirmed in 1997. I attend other churches
and am friends with Christians from other churches but my favourite is St
Luke's where I have met some very friendly brothers and sisters. St Luke's
is a church where I love to talk and read about Jesus Christ our
Lord." |
